Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle pinot grigio (or any dry white wine)
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh apple cider
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1/2 cup ginger brandy
  • 3 medium apples, thinly sliced
  • 3 medium pears, thinly sliced
  • optional: cinnamon sticks or star anise for garnish, caramel and cinnamon sugar for the rim

Instructions:

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the wine, apple cider, club soda, and ginger brandy.
  2. Add the sliced apples and pears, and stir everything together.
  3. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving to let the flavors blend.
  4. When ready to serve, give it a good stir and pour into glasses over ice.
  5. Optional: dip the rim of each glass in caramel, then in cinnamon sugar before pouring for an extra festive touch!
