Bang Bang Chicken

For the Chicken

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 TBSP chili garlic sauce or Sriracha
  • Chopped fresh cilantro or green onions, for garnish

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
  • Score the tops of the chicken breasts in a cross-hatch pattern to be about ½-inch apart and about ⅛-inch deep.
  • Mix the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and seasoned salt together in a small bowl, then toss onto the chicken for both sides, massaging into the cuts!
  • Prep the sauce:
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and chili garlic sauce.
    • **Keep a few tablespoons for serving!
  • Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and spread about 2 tablespoons of the bang bang sauce on top of each, then cook for about 20 minutes!
    • Depending on the size of the breasts, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for about 10 minutes, then serve over white rice and/or your favorite veggies!
  • Drizzle the extra bang bang sauce you set aside all over and garnished with some cilantro or green onions!
