These sheet pan nachos are something I will be making so much during the fall! If you’re a big football fan like our family, these nachos are perfect to snack on when watching the games. It’s a plus when everyone in the family likes them too! All you need are a few key ingredients and 25 minutes of your time, and you have yourself a snack everyone will rave about. These sheet pan nachos are also super customizable by adding your favorite toppings in the mix. Whether you’re hosting a game day party or enjoying the evening, these nachos are an definitely an easy crowd-pleaser. Trust me, they’ll be gone before halftime! Original recipe from Yumma Jawad.

Ingredients:
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 small can of diced tomatoes
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 12 ounce bag tortilla chips
- 1 15 ounce can of refried beans (you can also use black beans)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup prepared salsa
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 4 scallions (thinly sliced)
- 1 jalapeño (thinly sliced – optional)
- 2 small avocados (peeled and diced)
- fresh lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil.
- In a large skillet, add olive oil and set over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up the beef with a fork, for 5 to 7 minutes, or until only some pink remains. Then add in the can of diced tomatoes and taco seasoning, and cook for 1 to 2 more minutes, or until cooked through. Then remove from heat.
- Scare the tortilla chips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Top with beef, refried beans, and cheddar cheese. Then place in the oven and bake for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Let the nachos cool slightly, then distribute the salsa and sour cream evenly on top of the nachos.
- Scatter with scallions and jalapeños (if using), and avocado on top.
- Serve with fresh lime wedges on the side, and squeeze lime juice on top right before enjoying.
Notes:
- If you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the fridge. But, they are better to eat fresh because the chips can tend to get soggy!
